For this new build home with 700sqm of standing seam roof, the client chose Roofit.Solar - a perfect fit for its integrated design, metal roof compatibility, and sleek aesthetics. Unlike conventional panels, Roofit.Solar blends photovoltaic cells directly into the roof, maximizing energy output and roof space while reducing installation complexity.
For this project, our client wanted a home to be “future-proof, sustainable and cost effective from an energy perspective,” but was told that solar installations would be difficult and inefficient due to the curved dormer on the roof.
Since Roofit is made from metal, we recommended a Roofit installation on the flat sections of the roof and traditional standing seam metal on the curve section to maintain a seamless aesthetic. One of our installers mentioned that “each metal sheet needed to bend into its own unique, very intricate shape.
For this new-build barn, the client wanted a complete solar roof. Barns are an ideal fit for Roofit.Solar because Roofit can make the most of the roof space, reduce material and installation complexity, whilst also offering a sleek and unobtrusive finish. With 282 Roofit.Solar panels installed, this new 250sqm roof now delivers maximised energy production and long-lasting durability without compromising design.
