The shape of this roof made traditional solar options unviable, so when the homeowners came across Roofit.Solar on Grand Designs, they were directed to Smartly solar as the UK partner. We designed a system that incorporated panels onto the areas around the curved dormer, and because the base material is the same as the non-solar areas of the roof, it blends in seamlessly.
One of our installers mentioned that “each metal sheet needed to bend into its own unique, very intricate shape. It was time-consuming to get it right, but the end result was outstanding.”
